Foxwell NT530 Plus Bidirectional Diagnostic OBD2 Scanner

Good for diagnostics, do not use to re-learn CVT on Subaru.

The scanner works fine reading codes. Used additional software for Subaru (additional $80 purchase). However, when attempted to perform CVT learn, the scanner would lose communication and terminate the learning process. I had to take the car in to be connected to a professional scanner. This is a good tool for diagnostics, reading codes and tracking CVT fluid temperature when verifying the fluid level, but not to be used for performing the compulsory CVT learn process. This issue may be limited to Subaru software.

NT5300 for Porsche Boxster

Bought the NT530 to remove the winscreen rain detection feature as it had developed a fault. It took me about 5 minutes and the constant error message I got every time I started my Boxster has now gone. It is such a joy now when I start the engine not having the error message flashed in my face every time. A big thank you to Foxwell. I can always re-enable this feature again if I can find some to to fix for a reasonable price.

Gave me some indepth info regarding codes and was able to clear them. I feel like i have a better grip on what issues my car has and how to fix them.
