Foxwell NT530 Plus Bidirectional Diagnostic OBD2 Scanner

Excellent Scanner for Mercedes-Benz Diagnostics

I purchased the Foxwell NT530 Plus with Mercedes-Benz software after contacting Foxwell support and explaining that I needed a scanner capable of bidirectional diagnostics to troubleshoot an intermittent limp mode issue on my Roadtrek RV built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. They recommended this model, and it has met my expectations. The scanner provides the advanced functions I was looking for, including bidirectional control and access to Mercedes-specific systems that many generic OBD-II scanners simply can't reach. It's easy to use, responsive, and gives me the confidence to diagnose issues myself before replacing parts unnecessarily. For anyone maintaining a Mercedes Sprinter or RV built on one, this is an excellent value. My only complaint has nothing to do with the scanner itself—it's the shipping. Foxwell shipped it in its original retail packaging, which is about as sturdy as a cereal box, with no protective outer box or carrying case. By the time it arrived, the package was smashed and torn. Fortunately, the scanner itself wasn't damaged, but the packaging could have done a much better job protecting the product during transit. Overall, the NT530 Plus earns 5 stars for the product. I would deduct a star for the shipping and packaging, which I hope Foxwell improves in the future.

Product worked great. It took a few emails with customer service to get the software I needed loaded, but they were very responsive and got me taken care of.
