Side Release Buckle No. 4

The buckle has a nice, authentic look, but is lightweight as a belt buckle. It's made of rather thin metal and doesn't have the heft I was expecting. The spring force is rather light, and it seems like it could come unbuckled rather easily, just from bumping it the wrong way. I would have preferred that it took a good bit more force to squeeze the tabs to release the catch. That said, I haven't actually worn the belt I made with any kind of weight hanging from it. But, I'm nervous about trusting this lightweight buckle to hold a lightsaber hilt that cost many hundreds of dollars.

I got the buckle. It fits perfectly with what I wanted for my Windu costume. Thank you Cordially B.THOMAS
