ORIGINAL MATTE Loose Powder Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15

another unsurprising win for bareMinerals

I have been wearing origina bareMinerals foundation since shortly after it's introduction and as other forms were introduced, assumed they would be good as well. I have gotten to that certain age where matte cosmetics just look better than a younger, dewy look. So once again I turned to bareMinerals since they have served so well in the past and I know there would be no shade-matching concerns because the shades are the same between the original and matte versions. Ev3n the application method stayed the same: swirl, tap and buffer. I was pleasantly impressed with how the matte version looks on my skin. It is velvet where the original foundation is dewy, but otherwise gave me just an updated look to go with my new age bracket‐- I turn 60 later this year --and I now have two tried and true looks to go with my mature skin. But i'm thinking that the matte foundation will be my new go-to product. I especially like the SPF 15 sun protection that's going to add to the BARESKIN SPF 30 that I will likely add under the matte foundation. bareMinerals did it again after the original loose powder foundation and the Complexion Rescue tinted moisturizer I tried and liked as well.

I only use this foundation

I have been using the Matte loose powder foundation for many years. I have not found anything else that stays matte all day. Everything else that I have tried gets oily or shiny on me.

Makes my pores invisible

This powder foundation does amazing things for my pores. I’ve tried a few liquid foundations but they look cakey and make my pores stand out. This foundation is different and feels amazing too!
