Frame Arms Girl x Megami Device Magical Baselard Model Kit

Very cute kit

This is basically a body of Baselard Animation Ver. plus two MSG weapons. The kit itself is very cute. Even though there is nothing new, a combination with MSG weapons made this kit a fresh look. Considering the cost of those two MSG weapons, the body itself seems to be a bit pricy, though. One interesting thing is, in this kit, there are few duplicate runners with just different colors, so there are a lot of leftover parts. If you want, you can make a body entirely in skin color. So you might be able to make some funny thing with that. Also, you can make Baselard style or Zelfikar style by changing the head gear and the chest armor. Instruction is for Zelfikar, so to make it as Baselard style, you will have to try it by yourself or refer the instruction of Baselard kit. (Instruction tells now to make Baselard head gear, but not the chest armor) Two MSG weapons, the magic staff and the skirt, could be used in other kits. The staff is separately available (in different color), but the skirt one is a modified one, so you cannot buy this separately. Included one is much bigger than separately available EX Armor E. So this is a good thing. But unlike the staff, the skirt doesn't really fit well in some kits. It fit very well on Frame Arms Girl Hresvelgr, but not so well on Zelfikar. None of the included adapters worked. The skirt's position was either too low (below the hip line) or too loose (big space in front of the waist). There is one adapter that has a short peg with through hole, so I cut the part of runner and put that through that hole to the back of the body and it worked somewhat. Anyway, this is a cute kit, so I recommend this. Only reason for 4 star is because, if you already have other Baselard/Zelfikar kits, there is barely something new here. It feels like I had to buy an entire kit just for a newly designed skirt part.
