Elliott Wood and Brass Picture Ledge

The wood is beautiful and I like the fact that it is a floating shelf but the brass is not brass. Very flimsy material and brass finished like it said in the description. Thought it would be some sort of metal with a brass finish.

This looks amazing in my office! I love the color of the wood and the brass really adds a level of elegance to this piece.

Although the shelf is beautiful, the shelf is very poorly made. The holes in the shelf were very misaligned to the bracket it was supposed to be installed with. It took a lot of finagling in order to hang the bracket unevenly so that the shelf would appear even when installed. So much so, that you can see part of the bracket sticking out from above the hung shelf on one side (even though the shelf is perfectly level). It was a big pain to insall and would’ve been simple if the care would’ve been taken to drill the holes in the right spot while it was being made. In addition, one of the bar rails came severely crooked. I decided to deal with it rather than deal with the hassle of returns, but I am happy to submit pictures if somebody from Magnolia wants to reach out to me. Overall, I would not recommend this product.
