RORY Sand, Washed Linen

This dress is exactly what I wanted! It has that effortless, understated feel I love. The shoulders fit perfectly, the sleeves just the right fullness - not oversized. It skims my body rather than clinging (flattering). I personally love the length (I am 5’5”) as it skims my ankles, giving it that relaxed, coastal look. From the side view it hangs straight rather than sticking out around the tummy and hips. The pleat at the back gives the dress movement without adding bulk and it falls beautifully.

Disappointed

I loved this dress in photos however in person the color was a difficult neutral with my skin, which is unusual since I wear neutral colors often and love them. Also, the dress could use some pockets and a deeper rise on the hem sides. It lacked the stylishness of a truly great shirt dress.

Love the dress. But, as always, your longer dresses are way too long for shorter women. I have to get them hemmed, which adds to the expense and adds time to when I can start wearing the dress. This is an even bigger problem with your knit dresses. It would be great if you offered your longer dresses in lengths for shorter women. I think you would be surprised at how many more dresses you would sell.
