Nothing to dislike. Much improved experience over my heavy traditional kayak. Love it.

Great Kayak!
After three outings—a pond, the Morro Bay estuary, and the calm Pacific waters of San Luis Bay, we are completely satisfied with our two Oru Lake Sports. We have owned sea kayaks for 30 years, but no longer have storage space—and the weight was a challenge when we had to put them on the car’s roof. The Oru Lake is the answer! One strong suggestion—no kayak should be sold without the foot rest (included with the Sport—but a bad idea to leave out of the standard Lake). Other than that caveat, these are amazing kayaks for something you can fold up and put in the trunk!

Lightweight and easy to unfold and fold
I'm an experienced flat water paddler. After cancer attacked one of my vertebrae, I was limited on how much weight I could lift (30 lb. max). The Oru is perfect for me. It's lighter than kevlar or other rigid boats, and it handles surprisingly well. There's a horizontal bar that attaches to the seat instead of foot pegs, and it works well. As expected for a short, flat bottomed boat, it doesn't track well, so I recommend getting the skeg. Two other pleasant surprises: Unfolding/folding really is easy and quick, and it fits well into the pack. I'm glad that I got the flotation bags for the bow and stern (peace of mind).
