I found Sanded & Branded, by chance. After an unfortunate accident that claimed my son's life. I sent an email inquiring about having a picture branded on the outside of the urn. This was after hours in my timezone, so I didn't expect a response, 10 minutes later! I followed the link and instructions, was contacted about my choices, recommendations were suggested and final proof was approved. Let me just say, the urn was packed like it was an egg. Two boxes, bubble wrap, you name it, this urn was not getting damaged. The urn was beautiful. The construction was like your uncle or grandfather put their customers on hold to construct the perfect representation of one of their own. The joints are tight. The hinges don't bind.The finish is flawless. You can tell, this was put together with purpose. Not to make a buck. To honor your loss. I would highly recommend these urns. You family member will be honored with respect and quality with a Sanded & Branded urn.

Beautiful Urn!

I found Sanded & Branded on the internet in my search for a wooden urn for my parents ashes (both passed within 3 months of the other). I was hoping to get one customized that reflected them being together for eternity. Turns out too, that their shop was just a little over an hour away from me here in South Carolina so I was able to keep it local. Wow, was I surprised when I stopped to pick up the urn they created with the family's input, such a beautifully detailed piece!! Amazing woodwork with the maple wood, I was just sorry we were going to bury it :-)! They were so nice in the shop that they brought me out another (plain) urn to use for the burial. These folks are the best and I plan to keep them in mind for future woodworking, I highly recommend this small business doing the highest quality work with excellent customer service!!
