Antique Gold Heart Signet Ring

I was excited to find a ring like this in brass as I like to mix brass pieces with my other gold jewelry. I fully expected the plating to wear off as that’s the nature of plated jewelry, but I was disappointed to find that the plating chipped off to reveal a silver color underneath. I don’t wear silver, so I don’t think this piece will have a long life in my collection as the plating continues to wear.
