WOW this DLC10 is Noisy !!!
I purchased this DLC10 to go on a brand new SE Bikes Fast Ripper with Shimano Cues 170mm 2-pc Cranks, Shimano Cues Shadow Rear Derailleur, Shimano Linkglide Cassette(CS-LG300) and to replace the factory Shimano Linkguide, LG500 Chain. Immediately I noticed the significant increase in sound this KMC chain produces, it is outrageous! I tuned the derailleur in hopes that I could quit it down but it just wasn't possible. I ended up waxing the factory chain and putting it back on, it was instantly much quieter. I did have to retune the derailleur but even when it was not adjusted correctly there was a night and day difference in how much less sound the Shimano Chain produces. While I have been a big fan of KMC Chains, this will deter future purchases.

Pretty pricey for a chain, so Im hoping the quality and performance justify the price and Im not just paying for the color detail. It does look great so far. Cant wait to install on my bike.

I found out about KMC while working at a bike shop.
Its the lightest and strongest chain on the market.
