Great wearing chain
Last time I replaced my chain I got a KMC X10SL. Previously I had used Shimano and Sram chains. I measure my chain every time it is cleaned and re-lubed and replace it when it exceeds 0.75 mm wear. I thought Sram lasted longer than Shimano but still only got about 3000 miles out of a chain. My KMC X10SL is at 5430 miles and still measures 0.50 mm wear. This is as good as some Shimano chains when new. Several months ago, I bought another KMC X10SL on sale thinking I would need it soon but there seems to be no end in sight for this great KMC chain.
