Customer service was excellent, cookies, sitting a bit too long?

The lady at the counter was fantastic! Helpful, kind, gracious and friendly. $20 for 8 cookies, I was expecting a shortbread taste but……. That wasn’t the case at all. Perhaps I picked up a bag that had been there a bit longer than it should have. Even though I see the shop all the time, despite the kindness at the counter, I’ve had much better cookies for that price.
