Mateo Leather Backpack

Love everything about this bag. I bought it for a vacation trip with my love and it was super comfortable and just beautifully made. I would 100% buy again. Everything I've ever bought from Latico Leathers has been amazing.

Soft but not slouchy!

I am very much enjoying my Mateo backpack! It has recently travelled with me across country as well as internationally. It easily fit my larger zip wallet and 30 oz Stanley cup, sunglass case, book and jacket. The leather is a nice “medium” soft ? Haha this is my first Latico purchase and I was afraid the backpack would actually be “too slouchy” if that makes sense. There is a time for slouchy but I didn’t want a backpack that looked droopy when not packed full. Also didn’t want it so rigid that it was uncomfortable or hard to tuck into places (like under an airplane seat). Mateo has worked out perfectly! Thanks Latico!

99% perfect

I love my new backpack! I got the Mateo in charcoal-the color is just what I’d hoped…more of a faded black than gray. I was elated with it…and then I discovered the latico-signature hidden cell phone pocket-and now I am OBSESSED. If I could change one thing, I’d make it slightly roomier on the interior (ie, deeper), but I can absolutely love with the dimensions as they are.
