Started right up but check for shavings

No issue with flatness or component quality so far, but only about 100 miles on it. I did find some aluminum shavings left behind - ya'll need to be more careful when machining these things.

Ordered a head for delivery to Australia, had it on my doorstep in under 10 days. Great service from Turners. Be aware that import duties are about $300. For peace of mind order a Turners head for a bit more money and a few extra days delivery.

what a difference

Installed head into land rover 101; what a difference to the drive, cruising comfortably at 60, would have gone faster, but we are running on drum brakes. She even holds her speed on hills. The old head struggled at 50, and had no torque on hills. Many thanks
