Bar length

I bought two absolutely lovely flat back piercings which I loved when they arrived , great quality and they look so pretty but the problem is that the bars are too long to wear them in helix or lobes, there’s too much movement and bar sticks out. When I went to a piercing shop to see if they could put the front onto a shorter bar they can’t because the bar that comes with them is thinner than at most places so their bars won’t fit it. I’m gutted cause the jewellery is stunning.
