Bixby K1 with large battery pack and side mount adaptor for the motor. I have used it once and so far I love it. It pushes my Hobie PA 14 at 4 mph on full speed setting. about 2.5 mph at half speed setting. I had it on trolling speed most of the time. I weigh 180 lbs and carry maybe 60 pounds of gear including the motor and battery. I spent all day on the lake, and I was able to see parts of the lake I have never seen before. My Bixpi K1 motor and Bixpi K1 battery took me all over the lake. I was very excited at the end of the day that I had a lot of power left in the battery, 3 lights left. I could have stayed on the water for a couple more hours, but I was running out of daylight. I am very glad I chose Bixpi motors for my kayak. I am going to get the rear mount adaptor for my PA 14.

Weaker than expected

I have 2 friends with the K1 and they are happy with it. I guess I should have tested theirs out first. I kinda with I went with the NV180.

I weigh 155 lbs and carry maybe 35 lbs of gear including the motor and battery. I haven’t yet had an opportunity to run the battery near empty so I don’t know how long it will last me on a typical fishing day, but I think it will be enough power for my 5-6 hour days. (Not motoring all that time, of course)
