Gourd and Pinecone Trees, Sold Separately

The leaves emerging between the pine cones and gourds were greatly damaged, even though the tree was wrapped in newsprint and seemingly anchored within the box. When unwrapped a lot of the tips of the leaves were already laying in the bottom of the box and among the folds of the newsprint wrapping. Upon opening the box it seemed to be packaged adequately but that there was so much drbris in the bottom would indicate the leaves were too fragile not to have been wrapped in perhaps bubble weap rather than newsprint. I’m scared to open the second box! But clearly mine are not going to look so stately as the ones in the shop pictures because the leaves are snapped and where snapped, unpainted. Ugly! The leaves should be of some more flexible material like silk. I doubt i’ll use them.

Absolutely Fabulous

The Gourd and Pinecone trees were the stars of my Thanksgiving tablescape. They arrived promptly and were exactly as pictured-- just gorgeous.
