48 ounces is huge! perfect in the a.m. when i usually have my 2 cups of coffee. perfect in the afternoon when i make my shake mixes, perfect in the evening when i'm sitting down watching tv/sports and drinking my liquor. the cup is incredibly sturdy, the same as the smaller shaker cups. the lid seals tight allowing for zero drips. absolutely phenomenal cup here. extremely highly recommended for those who need "a bit more" and lovers of batman.
