Cotton Fisherman Sweater

Nice weight & color, wish the weave was. . .

So I've worn this many times since I bought it a few weeks ago, and I'm enjoying it, but it's lives in my closet in a stack of 2 other cotton fisherman sweaters from other brands — one of which is probably a dozen years old), and I find the details in the JK sweater to be more ordinary than either of my others: the neck ribbing is a bit clunky, the cut doesn't drape or swing as well as some of the others I have, and it's already clear that this cotton is a bit too soft-ball -- it's just not going to last like the others. A cotton fisherman sweater should be able to take some hard knocks — pushing the sleeves up, throwing a jacket and a cross-body over it, taking some rain. And it's already showing more wear than I had hoped. If what you want is a sweater for throwing over a dress in a chilly evening, it'll likely be great. If what you want is a sweater that you grab whatever your day brings, this one may not be for you.

Cotton Fisherman Sweater

This sweater is the perfect weight for spring and summer. I have the cashmere fisherman sweaters in three colors and they look well with everything. The cotton, however, is better for spring.

Ivory cotton fisherman

I love my cashmere version, and the cotton is great too! It doesn't drape as nicely as cashmere. Fit and quality are spot on!
