After years of trial and error, I have settled on a simple two notebook system that works for me. I keep a "day book" with all my notes from calls, Zooms and meetings. Everything else goes into my second notebook, which serves as an all purpose repository. Writing by hand helps things "stick" better in my memory. I generally, though not always, use a fountain pen. Wonderland B6 notebooks have become my "go to" choice. They feature great paper that works well with my fountain pens, as well as ballpoint, rollerball, gel pens, markers and fineliners. The numbered pages make it easy for me to set up and maintain an ongoing index, which makes finding older notes a breeze. The B6 size is perfect for travel and makes my life easier when working at my always crowded desk. Finally, the books lay reasonably flat when open, which makes it easy to scan pages with my phone when U need to do so.
