Found this lamp base at a local Goodwill store that needed some TLC and had a shade but looked to be the wrong one for this lamp. I never worked on a vintage lamp before so it was a big learning curve for me, I figured out the electrical issues and the parts I needed to finish the project. It just so happens at our local flee market that I came across another shade that looked to be a better fit for the lamp. Your product looked to be one of the only item I could find that made sense to anchor the shade to the lamp. It was a near perfect match in color, other items out there were the wrong color,(to dark, to bright or the finish was to shinny). It would be nice if you include some sort of paper instruction as to the proper installation, as I'm not a hundred percent sure where the base piece is to be installed, I ended up putting it inside under the top of the glass shade, with the rest outside on top. Not the cheapest out there, but it was a perfect part to finish the lamp.
