We used the knives for a family reunion where we served steak. The knives worked so well. Everyone was able to cut their steaks easily.

Cuts a pork chop, but could be better...

It's hard to believe there isn't more of a market for plastic knives you could actually cut a steak or the like with... these knives are the only ones that I have found that are designed for this purpose. That being said, they are very sturdy, very structurally sound. The hollow portions on the handle actually make it stronger by design. And they do cut meat, but you do have to saw a bit... plastic though they may be, they could still stand to be a little sharper. You wouldn't have to saw so much if they just made the plastic teeth a little thinner. You still wouldn't cut yourself with it, but you wouldn't have to work so hard at sawing through a cut of meat...
