The shades are good quality, in that they are not too thin. When shopping for shades like this always look for a weight heavier than a pound. Or at least lift them to check. Cheap Chinese shades are too thin and break very easily

Perfect fit!

While moving items out of the living room and into a different room in the house, I accidentally shattered the frosted, etched glass globe shade on an antique lamp. I thought I’d never find a replacement but really lucked out!
