Lovely shoe but did not fit in size 35 the toes were tight and slipped on the heel.

Well I haven't worn these out yet but I think I am going to love them. I originally tried a size 3 in these but my feet are very wide and I just couldn't squeeze into them so I now have a size 4 which is not unusual for me. They are still a little tight on the widest part of my foot but I am currently stretching them and I think they will be fine. I agree with many others that the heel area is loose, but I have a narrow heel (which with a wide fore foot and a high instep can make shoe buying tricky). A gel heel grip seems to have done the trick although I did have to use a scalpel to remove the sticky gel from the cut-out areas of the heel. I love the look of these. I am quite short (now beginning to sound like a hobbit) so I like a high heel but my stiletto days are behind me so I need a nice chunky heel, and the little platform makes them look higher than they are. These look elegant and feminine and I think they are going to be very comfortable. I also bought a pair of Valerie as I like an open toe for summer. They also seem very nicely made, and good quality. I suspect I will end up with a collection of Esska shoes in various colours, and am very sad that I missed out on the petrol, they are gorgeous.
