This may be my favorite head overall for the MD2 flashlight. Reaches out a good distance with pretty decent spill without being so bright up close that too much light reflects off nearby objects hurting your vision. Run time is much better than with the hotter drop ins too.

This light is great!! Solidly built and hefty. I love the fact that the light can tail stand with the standard tai cap. The high/low switch makes swapping modes very easy by twisting the head. This works well for me because I don’t have to remember any funky button presses or wonder what mode the light will come on in. The light works great with a Thyrm LPC for pocket carry. It’s plenty bright with decent throw. Highly recommended!
