Stringy Strings have been around for a few years now. I looked at them initially with some skepticism; probably yet another fad as far as guitar goes that will soon disappear down the toilet with the others where they belong. Acoustically I am a huge John Pearse fan having gone through well over 30 sets and strung all my students guitar with them as well. *(hey they're good enough for new Froggy Bottom guitar to come prestrung with them then why not). I finally relented and purchased a set of Stringjoys. They have just recently added acoustic strings and JPs that I wanted were out of stock). Amazing! Beautiful Strings. Tonally not necessarily better than my JP600Ls ut the way they feel under your fingers is something you must experience yourself. For that they leave my JPs behind. Will I buy again? Also-bloody-lutely! I love them and so does my SJ200.
