Great hat

It was a great hat for the sun and fishing. Would purchase it again.

Exactly what I wanted

I used to have a cowboy hat that I would wear paddling, I didn't care I'd it got crushed and it had a wire brim so I could shape it as I saw fit, but it didn't cover my face and neck as much, leaving me exposed to the sun. This hat covers everything and I'm so dang jazzed!!!!! I also has a cool lake map relief on the underside of the brim. Cons are: not packable/ crushable, if you are carrying something just taller than your eye-line it will bump the hat. Still, I gave the hat 5 stars! 100% recommend!

Just a (really nice) big ol' hat

Very well made - brim is stiff so it won't flop, and it's so wide you probably won't feel the need for a neck cover. The liner is very nice and you don't get the hair snags you can experience with straw hats. If you have a big noggin like myself (size 7-7/8 or 8), you will be thrilled with the fit. No head-in-a-vise sensation whatsoever. Absolutely does the job of keeping the sun at bay.
