Beautifully Soft and Easy to Create

I am a very beginning knitter, and I wanted to tackle a project that would be a gift for some family friends who are expecting their first child. The yarn in this kit was baby-soft and pleasant to work with. (Bonus points given for the fact that the blanket will be easy for the parents to wash.) The yarn colors are so pretty, and the pattern was clear and easy enough for even me to understand. Finishing this blanket, and having it turn out so well even though I am a newbie, has given me confidence to take on other more challenging creations.
