Poor quality LCD screen

Luckily I only needed to access my iphone for some secure apps after buying a new phone. The screens LCD lighting is very uneven. There is a halo around the edges and some patches of brighter sections. The screen also has a very large black border so makes the usable screen noticeable smaller. It does the job i needed it for, but if this was my main phone I would be quite upset.
