Solid, Sturdy, Strong and STINKY

This rack is easy to build, super strong and sturdy and is a great size for holding our set of hex dumbbells. The only problem is that is letting off an acrid odour - probably from the rubber shelf liners. Whatever it is off-gassing burns the eyes, and pervades a room even with lots of ventilation (it sits under an open window). There has been no reduction after washing it multiple times over the past few weeks.
