First model of this style, some complications, but happy with the results
Until I built this model the only things I have made before were a couple of warhammer imperial knights so I had a bit of an idea on what I was getting into with this model kit. It was fun to put together and see the final results. My only issue with the model is that the force needed to connect to the articulating joints was usually enough to unfortunately collapse some of the pieces, same issues happened when adjusting the completed model into a balanced position. In the end I resorted to reassembling and gluing down a lot of the pieces for the limbs just to keep them stable enough to snap the sockets together. With any future kits I get I will simply glue down everything that is not meant to move. Personally even as a snap kit style it recommends very few pieces to glue and I feel that it should either be updated to recommend more fragile or high contact/forceful insertion pieces to be glued instead of just small pieces that do not have strong holds (many pieces as they snapped together seemed to add enough counter force to unsnap other pieces as well), or to just put a notice inside the construction symbol guide a "glue at ones own desire" indicator for those, like me, that went under the full impression that the model wouldn't need much or any glue. Regardless of that struggle the quality is great, the size is amazing (its roughly the size of a warhammer knight which shocked me and my friends when I posted comparison pictures). When I have some loose cash to spend I will definitely look for another armored core model that can bring some nostalgia to the old games, and hopefully the rumored release of a new title can inspire some new models as well.

Awesome kit, almost entirely color accurate out of the box
The build took about as long as a normal MG kit would and has a large amount of smaller pieces that make for a more detailed look. The only parts that are not color accurate are the silver parts on some of the weapons and then head camera. Has a great shelf presence. Only downsides are that you definitely need to glue certain pieces on and that the shoulders have large seam lines.
