Great sword lore book

Quite enjoyable book, I only wish it was a bit longer, and perhaps included some other types of weapons.

I could have sworn I already reviewed the Vorpal Almanac... my apologies, if there are two of these from me. I adore this book. It's imagination fodder for any GM who wants to reward their players with magic swords that are far more than stat sticks. The blades in this volume have rich histories, even sentience and personality -- you might need to win over your blade, or prove to it that you're adequately righteous, before it allows you to wield it (and do anything but miss your targets). Finally, some truly legendary swords that live up to the fantasy! My only complaint is that the gold foil version of the cover, the one I got, obscures some of the finer details of the graphic. The image looks much better and more cleanly articulated on the standard version of the book, and I really wish this wasn't the case. Great product, great vendor. Shipped fast and arrived in perfect condition.
