Creative, fast-paced, and lovable characters

Alex' story grabbed me more than anything. The stories are true pageturners and I tore my way right through them, loving the challenges and creative solutions to them. Looking forward to diving into the Animalian hall soon ;) Only nitpick I should mention, in the printed versions, there are font issues in the third, fourth, and fifth book whenever a certain wörd is mentioned - apostrophe's turn into >'s and the font sometimes just changes for a whole sentence or two. In the fifth book, it even looks like header fonts sneak into the tail ends of chapters, with words seemingly randomly getting different sizes. Something to look into and review.

Beyond Comparison

As an author, Thomas K Carpenter is top 5% across the board. I'm always impressed with the characters, world building, and immersive storylines. As a part-time gamer, I found Gamemakers Online just as entertaining and addictive as having a controller in my hand, plus some. My only complaint is that there are only 5 books. LOL, I need more! I'm heading into the Kingmaker Saga next, and although I will enjoy every page, I know it will end too soon!
