I got around to shooting some bicycle frames last week (i make bicycles), using the usual stuff - PPG DP primers with PPG DCC base coats. I usually use PPG 2020 clear, but this time used the Tamco Euro clear. I laid down a light first coat with my SATA Minijet, it was pretty orange-peel-ey, let it sit and set for 10 minutes or so, then thinned what was in the cup a little and shot a second coat. It just flowed, smooth as glass! I won't say it is better than the 2020, but it is just as good and I got a lifetime supply of the Tamco clear and catalyst, plus some thinner, for less than the cost of a quart of 2020 - and that is with my pro painter discount. This is some GOOD product.
