Squishy but too small
These pads are quite soft and the design to attach them is well thought out. The production quality is also excellent.
In usage:
Now this may be different for those of wider chests, but as a person of thinner stature I will say the pads are either too wide or not wide enough(38in chest). The pads a just wide enough where they interfere with shouldering a rifle. Basically the side of the pads dip into your rifle pocket and produce an uneven surface for the mount especially if done quickly. Personally, I run without them as the strap of the harness is thin enough to not interfere with shouldering.
