I really love how my pencil pouch turned out. I didn’t give it 5 stars, because I think the instructions could have been more detailed and there could have been more photos or a video. I’m not a very experienced sewer, so some of the steps were a little confusing for me, like nesting the corners for the flat base. I figured it out, but I did make mistakes and had to rip a few seams along the way. That said, I’m obsessed with my pencil case and it turned out really well. If I were to make it again, I’d add topstitching around the zipper and a pull tab or carry loop. The medium size pouch fits my 24 pack of PaperMate Flair pens perfectly!
