The sliding pins are unique, and a truly brilliant idea. If you want a pin to represent today's level of Dread, this is the only one there is. Despite having been told on this very website that the pins were substantial and high-quality, I was pleasantly surprised by how substantial and high-quality my pin is. It's really nice. For a pin expressing Existential Dread, anyway. The slider moves easily but stays parked where you put it. I got it for my jean jacket and it's been too cold to wear that for weeks now so I don't know how other people will react, but I'm looking forward to springing it on them when Spring comes. If you are at all tempted by this pin, do not resist! It will make you happy to express your Existential Dread. More or less.

Looks great, feels good; slider is loose

Really happy with the pin overall. Looks great, good colors, nice and solid build. The only downside is that the slider is loose so you can’t set it to a particular value and have it stay there. I solved this by gluing a bit of rubber band around the stem though and now it works great.
