Binding Frsky access Vario's

I purchased the TX16S radio to replace my older JR 9 and my Taranis 9XD as the one radio would do it all. The radio has some very nice features and one of those is the multi protocol binding however gr8V series (made for glider)will bind and all servos work but it will not recognise the vario except for older xr8 with seperate vario units, other than that it appears to be a good deal.
