Top Notch Khakis
These khakis remind me of the khakis I lived in decades ago. The tapered style is comfortable and works casually or dressed up a bit with a tie and blazer. The fabric is heavier than one finds in most khakis today. Built to last. Deep pockets and sturdy details at a fair price. A purchase I am very happy with.

Great slacks
I’m really happy with these. I purchased a size 29” and had these hemmed to a 32” which had a decent amount of break in the leg; after one wash, they shrunk maybe 1/2” to 1” in the leg to a great length, and maybe 1/2” in the waist which suits me well. The sheen has reduced a bit as well- I had been worried these would read a bit too formal, but now they’re great. I have a slim athletic build; and I would just say that there are a slim fit with maybe an inch or two of allowance around the calf and quad. Not tight, but definitely a slim profile. Looks slimmer on me than on the model; so maybe it’s how the smaller sized patterns scale. I had been moving away from this fit and had hoped for something just a bit more relaxed in the leg- but I’ll definitely find some wear out of them. Definitely reminds me of chinos that young Ivy League guys are pictured wearing in photos dating to the 60s: slim leg, high rise. (These hit comfortably above the hips at the natural waist). Some things I’m nitpicky about: - there’s a lot of loose threads where the button holes are all seam ripped; I wish these had been cleaned up in production. - I don’t think I’ll be using the coin pocket on these, even though I like using mine for my AirPods on my Buzz Rickson chinos. It hits uncomfortably at my hip and also creates a weird line. I feel like it could be moved in 1/2”-1” toward the fly along with the belt loops to help with this. -I find the waistband a touch wide; it’s wider than on most of my jeans and the belt loops likewise accommodate big belts. Maybe this is is the intention, but in terms of proportions the waistband seems to dwarf most of the belts I’d wear with trousers in an odd way. My issues are pretty minor- I’m pretty happy with these, happy to support an American-made brand, and very happy with the quality. I suspect I’ll be purchasing M1s or M2s from the mainline next.
