Flat Pencil Pouch PDF Sewing Pattern

A slight improvement in instruction please

I love the flat pencil and the pattern came with three different sizes and in pdf which is Fabulous. I read and re read the pattern, I I understood till the part where tge tab and sewing up the shirt sides in the end, I couldn't understand the reason of turning the fabric right side out and next paragraph saying sew in wrong side, however I thought I'll follow step by step I still got stuck in the same place. In the end had to follow you tube, but satisfying ending with a beautiful pouch. I love the tabs on both end.
