Used this as a drop-in replacement for my KTEC ErgoDone (pre-soldered ErgoDox) boards. The original Sparkfun Pro Micro had a TINY eeprom (1kb), limiting what I could do with regards to VIAL. (4 layers, 2 macros, 2 tapdance - max) With this controller, I can have many many many more features enabled. It's like 16,000 times more space to play with. Shipping was SUPER fast, and everything arrived in great shape.
