Really soft, really warm, really comfortable. They fit well under outer layers and glide better than most other base layers so you don't get that ruched up creased feeling. Elastic waist band is super helpful too for keeping all your layers in place. This is my first pair and I got them on sale, would happily pay full price now I know how good they are
