Impact Shorts (Hip Pads)

Sizing is spot on - Great pads

I'm 5'11" and 185 lbs w/ a 34" waist. I'm 43 with a semi dad bod. The XL fits me. I've read several reviews saying to size down, which I don't agree with. I also tried the L which also fit, but were too tight. The large felt like I was wearing tights under my shorts. So order true to the size chart. These pads fit under my shorts well. I really like how these pads protect the bottom under side of your butt cheek where it meets your leg. I can't think of another pad that isn't massive that also protects this area.

Great on the Ice as well!

It's not mentioned in the description, so I wanted to write up a review to mention these are excellent for ICE HOCKEY. You can wear slimmer hockey pants and still have a bit of extra protection from falls on the ice with these. I wear them every time I play

SIZE DOWN!

These work great, but contrary to the sizing guide on the site, they run BIG. I am 190 lbs, 6 ft, and have a 35 inch waist, so I got an XL. Definitely should have gotten a large. I can pull these up to my armpits.
