ok scope for the price

this scope is much better quality than the kid scopes you see for sale at target or similar. I tried one of those kid scopes and it didnt have a condensor and the light source was so bright it hurt ur eyes. that is not the case with this scope. There is a condensor. I will say, it lacks finer control over light than high-end scopes, but it was less than a 100$. the optical and objective lenses are different than I am used to. It has 3 objective lenses. 4x, 10x, and 40x (where is the 20x? 20x is the best). The optical lenses are 10x and 25x. weird. The resolution is pretty good. The 5 included stained slides are very nice quality. As expected with any microscope, when preparing your own specimen, you want as thin of section as possible.

Scope is small, no fine adjustment, plastic diaphragm feels cheap, clips feel cheap. Maybe a good scope for a kid at home or novice enthusiast, but would not recommend for clinical use
