Slim Bolt Action Pen

This is the pen I've been waiting for

I have the adjustable bolt action pen but whenever I trigger the bolt action one handed, my palm moves the adjustment mechanism which then affects how far the pen nib sticks out. That was the one annoying aspect I didn't like. This pen solves that problem by making the adjustment internal. Yes, you need a tool (which is included in the box) but for me who uses the same refills, this is a godsend. A near perfect pen became a perfect pen (the slim bolt action pen) for me! Bravo!

S-Tier pen

Undoubtedly my favorite pen company on the market. My Brass Slim Bolt Action is only a couple days into my dirty CNC machine shop environment but it’s handling it so well this far. The only vivid writing refill with a bold tip that can write through dirt and all is the uni SXR-10. I had to put some electrical tape on the tip of the refill to allow the auto collet to grip the tip other than that it’s perfect. The Damascus clip I got extra is beautiful and the brass body is beautiful too. The weight is spot on at 1.3oz, and it’s not too heavy to hold in my hand and I can gently press on the paper and the refill glides. My other 1.6oz pen hurts my hand but that 0.3oz difference is huge mind you. Writing is now enjoyable and not a chore. Beautiful piece and I can’t wait for a cool limited release so I can have a second pen from Big-Idea.

10/10! Top teir pens, that last w/ a great price tag that write incredibly smooth. Will buy each model. Thanks for the great work Big Idea!
