Well Made Check

In the photo you can see two winding checks. One is the “swooped” version on the left and the other is the “tapered” one. In a size 14, the swooped offers about 3mm of thickness (OD is 20mm) while the tapered only offers about 1.8mm of thickness (OD is 17.6mm).
