I much prefer these over the Legacy 2's. The hard shell on the inside gives me more peace of mind when riding in the ring or out on a trail. The fetlock strap is way more sturdy than the double strap on the legacies. You have a little more leverage with this fetlock strap than you do with the one on the legacies because it's narrower. I prefer my boots tight on my horses and I can get just the right amount of support and tightness from these. I highly recommend it!
