Skunk Shampoo!

My pooch was hit square in the face by a skunk one night, and I only had home remedies on hand. While the peroxide, baking soda, dish soap combo followed by a vinegar bath worked to tame the smell from dumpster/chemical fire down to “ew, did a skunk walk through the room?”, the stench lingered for days. So I ordered Purodora's spray shampoo set and it really works! A spray with the neutralizer followed by a shampoo eliminated the stench and she smelled delightful. Every now and then, when she gets wet or I catch a whiff, I soak the spot with the neutralizer spray and it cuts its right off. So glad I now have this on hand!
