Worst Luck Ever!

Getting back into skateboarding after 20 yrs and I’m grateful there are still places you can get the best quality decks on the planet for a somewhat decent price, If you’re like me and don’t care at all about colors or graphics. Quality of the the deck was exceptional as expected but I couldn’t have gotten a worse mold for me. Well honestly I don’t know how anyone rides a steep, tapered, and short tail with only 1 to maybe 1 & 1/4 fingers-a-flat between the bolts and base of the tail. I have to stand as far back as possible on the board with my back foot literally on the edge of the tail . . . Then Instead of squatting down and popping straight up I have to pop the tail in backwards motion as far behind me as possible to get enough leverage to lift off the ground. I was really excited for the challenge of adapting to a board I didn’t get to hand pick but after three weeks of trying everything to make sure it wasn’t just human error I realized this deck just wasn’t going to work out for me. I understand that I’m not the only one this happened to and I may have just caught some bad luck but with getting a deck from P.S. Stix I can’t skate feels like the WORST luck. I’ve been happy with all the other products I’ve purchased from braille and would very much like to try another Stix deck as soon as I can swing it financially. Anyway I figured it was worth a shot reaching out in the hopes that maybe you guys value a customer dealing with a similar situation to mine who is willing to stick with you after a bad experience. -Eric Lankford-O’Neal
