Quality Doesn't Justify Price Point

This necklace is pretty enough, but it isn't a quality piece. I guess I should have known, given that it is silver plate and not sterling, but I expected a little more at this price point. I have similar necklaces I bought from TJ Maxx for $15.99 and at Banana Republic (Layered Metal Pendant Necklace) on sale for $18 (originally $30) that feel heavier and seem to be better quality. It was packaged well enough, though, and came with a nice drawstring bag that I can use for travel.
